HOW IT ALL STARTED – MY CREATIVE JOURNEY IN WOOD

I’m Martin – a passionate wood artist from Germany.
My journey began in 2012, when I attended my very first American football game in the United States. The atmosphere was electric – the energy, the passion, the storytelling of the sport. That moment lit a spark in me that never faded.

Back home, I carried that feeling with me. At first, it was just a fascination with the game. But soon, I started experimenting with wood – turning the intensity of football moments, legendary players, and unforgettable emotions into handcrafted art. What began as simple attempts slowly grew into something much deeper: a way of preserving stories in wood.

What started with football soon evolved into my very own style. Every piece I create is one-of-a-kind, handcrafted with care, and designed to capture not just an image, but a feeling. To me, wood is more than just a material – it carries memories, emotions, and meaning.

Over the years, my inspirations expanded. Music, film, and personal milestones found their way into my work. Yet the essence has always remained the same: combining vision, craftsmanship, and emotion to carve stories that last.
